This Ammolite is created from the irridescent shell of the fossil Ammonite, it was partially cleaned and sprayed with clear to stabilize it. With a little more sanding it will be ready for a clear cap and then your jewelry. It will make a great specimen as-is. It is truly a unique gemstone. Much nicer in person. This specimen is 1x1.25x.5 inch thick and weighs 1.3 oz. There is good color on both sides of this piece. Enjoy!
